Oh! Goodness
By March Oyinki - 7/9/02
Good! Oh morning star
Morning star bright and sparkling
Brief is your appearance, everlasting your impression
Morning star bright and sparkling
Brief is your appearance, everlasting your impression
Good! Oh spring water
Spring water clear and clean
High or low you quench all thirst
Spring water clear and clean
High or low you quench all thirst
Good! Oh great love
Love kind and caring, rare though pure
You give my heart joy
Love kind and caring, rare though pure
You give my heart joy
Good! Oh breath of life
Breath of life deep and fresh
Bountiful and freely you give to all.
Breath of life deep and fresh
Bountiful and freely you give to all.
Think!
By March Oyinki - 1/9/02
When you have plenty and others lack, think!
When you are happy and others sad, think!
When you have good fortune and others misfortune, think!
When you are full of life and others sickly and dying, think!
When you are affluent and others wallow in poverty, think!
When you have much to drink and others thirst, think!
When you are in authority and others suffer deprivation, think!
Think when you have the chance, tomorrow may never be
When you are happy and others sad, think!

Come, O! begrudged subjects
Come North, South, East and West,
Four pillars of strength
Come together splitter nations
Bile filled subjects of depravity match
The center ruined but weakly holds
Come dialogue pillars of strength
Disquiet tempers, may tranquil be.
Come North, South, East and West,
Four pillars of strength
Come together splitter nations
Bile filled subjects of depravity match
The center ruined but weakly holds
Come dialogue pillars of strength
Disquiet tempers, may tranquil be.

Love, O gentle breeze
You fan my heart aglow
Like a smoldering flame,
You torched my dim desire
Into a furore of burning lust,
Love, O my jewel, precious jade,
My heart beholds you,
Soothe me, my treasure,
I have found happiness in thee,
Insatiable want, you have found rest.
You fan my heart aglow
Like a smoldering flame,
You torched my dim desire
Into a furore of burning lust,
Love, O my jewel, precious jade,
My heart beholds you,
Soothe me, my treasure,
I have found happiness in thee,
Insatiable want, you have found rest.
